Here’s a suggested order to pack up when moving house:
Non-Essential Items:
Out-of-season clothing: Pack winter clothes if it’s summer, and vice versa.
Decorations: Artwork, knick-knacks, and other decorative items.
Books and media: Books, CDs, DVDs, and similar items.
Specialty items: Seasonal items like holiday decorations, and items not regularly used.
Less Frequently Used Rooms:
Garage, attic, and basement: Pack tools, equipment, and stored items.
Guest rooms: Pack furniture and items not regularly used.
Occasionally Used Items:
Kitchenware: Extra pots, pans, small appliances, and specialty kitchen gadgets.
Bedding and linens: Extra sheets, blankets, and towels.
More Frequently Used Items:
